Fluff. I hadn’t read a fluffy book in a few weeks, I needed something to read during my breaks at work. You know, those books where it doesn’t matter that I don’t it pick up some days or at all on the weekends. And can pick back up on Monday and not have missed anything. I like when formulaic stories have a twist. Like this one. Guy with a past meets woman. She has no idea who he is, they fall in love/lust/whatever. She discovers secret and is upset but all works out in the end. But the twist… his secret is a good one! He’s a hero, as we find out in the first few pages. And he’s not keeping the secret alone, there is someone who finds out. Makes for an interesting dynamic. Anyway, good book, well-written. Still fluff, but the good kind!
