I am currently working on my Master's Thesis, but I procrastinate by reading all the books I can! In the meantime, I have a good job with fun people.

The Mystery of Atlantis

The Mystery of Atlantis
By Charles Berlitz

Good, probably was better when it was written! He talks in circles, sometimes, but that could be because he's writing about Atlantis, which is not provable at this point.

A History of the Middle Ages

A History of the Middle Ages
By Joseph Dahmus

Great overview and depth, at the same time. No pictures, annoying when he describes things like Gothic churches. Maps were good to put things in perspective.

The Prince and the Pauper

The Prince and the Pauper
By Mark Twain
0451521935

Everyone knows this story, but that doesn't mean it's not worth reading. Anything Mark Twain writes is worth reading. I loved the descriptions of court and of the streets of London. And I loved the characters, not just the title ones but all the secondary characters also. I love the idea of sitting down in front of the king and how important that idea becomes!

Slaughterhouse Five

Slaughterhouse Five
By Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.

One of the classics/banned books that everyone should read. I've read it before, but you always see something new in these books, depending on where you are in your life and where your country is.
