You've chosen for Josh to talk to CJ. Let's see how that goes!

Josh sat in his office, fiddling with his pen. He watched CJ walk by his office.

"Claudia Jean! Get in here!"

She poked her head in, "You bellowed?"

"What're you doing for lunch?"

"Eating."

Josh grinned. "What a coincidence! Me too! Let's go to that little deli you like. My treat."

CJ regarded him suspiciously for a moment. Then she shrugged. "I know you want something. And I'm pretty sure I'll say no. But I might as well get lunch out of it."

"Great!" Josh waved her away. "I'll see you later."

She left, shaking her head and wondering at his sanity. Was there less of it than there had been yesterday, she mused.

"Okay, spill."

"What?"

She sighed. "What is this lunch for?"

"Fun?"

"Joshua."

"What do you think of Danny?"

CJ stared at him for a moment before becoming very interested in the tablecloth. "How exactly do you mean?"

"CJ."

"He's a great reporter. Obviously, his reputation speaks for itself. And he's a nice guy, from what I can tell. Not that I spend much time-"

"Are you in love with him?"

Her head shot up and their eyes met. She opened her mouth but nothing came out.

"You're aware you haven't actually said anything, right?"

"Is this a joke?"

Josh sighed. "Danny's in love with you."

CJ shook her head. "No. He flirts with me, it's just for fun. You're reading too much into harmless-"

"He told me."

She shut her eyes. "Yes," she whispered.

"Yes?"

"I'm in love with him, Josh. You can't tell anyone."

"We all thought it was just a crush."

She opened her eyes and her sad expression met his. "I wish. It would be much simpler that way, wouldn't it?"

He laughed shortly. "No kidding. Maybe you should kiss him, get it out of your system."

She shook her head. "I don't know, that'd probably be a bad idea. In fact, it might make things worse, I don't think I should do that."

"Liar."

"What?"

"You already kissed him."

She grimaced.

"Danny told me. By accident, so don't be pissed at him."

"Anger would be better than what I feel now, wouldn't it?"

Josh shrugged. "Who's to say?"

"We should get back."

He nodded and they left the restaurant. They fell silent as they walked. Finally, Josh took CJ's arm. "Things will get better."

"Eventually."

"Yeah."

The rest of the walk was silent. When they reached the lobby, CJ gave him a kiss on the cheek. "You know I'll kill you if you spread this around."

He grinned. "Get back to work, Claudia." He watched her walk away before heading for his own office.

Choice time again.

Josh should give it up. This can only end badly!

Josh should get some help (we all know he can't do this on his own, right?)

The President is the most powerful man in the world. Who better to ask for help?

Indispensable Donna, such a romantic. Wouldn't she be the perfect person to ask for help?

Leo is pretty high up there... maybe Josh should run it by him.

Toby's such a softie, he'd be good, right? Or not. But he is the closest to CJ, so maybe Josh should ask him.
