He walked her to the front door and waited while she unlocked it.

"I'd invite you up," she told him quietly. "But that's probably a bad idea."

"Because we'd do something that'd be a bad idea right now?"

"Yes. And my apartment is a disaster."

He laughed quietly. "I doubt that. But we'll go with that for tonight."

She looked around before leaning towards him. Their lips touched, gently at first. She wedged her foot in the door to free her arms. They twined around his neck as they deepened the kiss. His hands settled around her waist as they parted for air. Their eyes caught and held.

"Well, I can tell Josh I'm not over you," Danny whispered.

She smiled, delighted. "Goodnight, Danny."

"Goodnight, CJ." He stepped away from her, already regretting the loss of contact. He walked down her front steps as she turned to go into her apartment building.

And neither saw the woman with the camera, sitting in the car across the street.
