Let's see how Leo's idea turns out.

"CJ Cregg."

"Right this way, Ms. Cregg."

She followed him through the nearly deserted restaurant to a table in the back.

"You!" She stopped short when she saw the man at the table. "You set this up?"

"No, Josh did as far as I can tell. He told me to be here, didn't he tell you the same thing?"

CJ smiled as she sat down. "Yes, but this isn't Josh's type of restaurant."

"Donna?"

"Leo."

Danny swallowed. "Are you kidding me?"

She shrugged. "This is one of his favorites. I'll have to find out tomorrow."

"And tonight we'll simply enjoy?"

"Sounds good to me."

They ordered, then talked quietly as they waited for their meals, then began to eat.

"CJ, stop it."

"What?"

He shook his head with a small smile. "No one can see us back here. Stop looking over your shoulder."

She smiled and ducked her head. "Sorry, it just feels..."

"Like we're doing something wrong?"

"Yeah."

"Well, we apparently have Leo's permission, so calm down."

She visibly relaxed. "That's true. Sorry."

"So Josh sent me with the message that this is only going to occur once."

She sighed. "I figured that."

"But why now?"

"Because I talked to Josh this afternoon."

"And asked him to set us up?"

"No," she smiled. "I told him that I'm in love with you."

"I told him the same thing last night."

"He wasted no time then."

Danny smiled. "Can you say it again?"

She leaned closer and took his hand. "Danny, I love you."

"I wish we were alone right now."

"Danny-"

"I know. I want to kiss you." He sighed. "But I'll settle for telling you I love you. And that you're beautiful."

"Flattery will get you everywhere, Concannon."

"I'm counting on it. Are you done?"

She nodded and he gestured for the waiter so they could pay.

Danny helped her up from her chair, then kept her hand in his to leave the restaurant. At the front door, she leaned closer to whisper, "Don't take this the wrong way."

He smiled sadly as she took her hand back to walk out of the restaurant. "Let's get a cab, I'll see you home."

CJ nodded and he flagged down a cab, hoping the ride would take forever.
